Yes, I see what you mean and I agree. would have liked to see the house with the barn and horses for the boys and Dotty there too. but thanks for your great videos to see the material in a fresh new way.

So sorry the show had to end as it did, we never got to see mother and the boys again after that camera scene with Lee and Jamie:(

In the last few episodes, yes. What I was referring to were the early ones in the season when they don't even mention the fact that she has kids or a mother at home. They started phasing them out quite a bit in S3, and continued in S4. Very unfortunate choice on the part of the writers/producers, in my opinion.

There were several episodes in S4 that didn't have Dotty or the boys in them. One of the main problems I have with S4. It was a shame that the writers were not able to find a way to advance Amanda's life at work/with Lee and not include her family in it more. The show lost so much of what made it unique when they gave up on her home life.

Wasn't it because she was undergoing treatments and couldn't put in the grueling hours so they had to rely on the spy action to write around her, and I missed her just as much from the spy action too, not watching Lee's back.

Francine was not as exciting alongside of Lee. Really too bad that Katie got ill. Another season would have been great with a stronger ending. I'm now looking at this series. So many years later. Intoxicated. He's so handsome and she's so exceptionally beautiful.
