Jamie Foxx was without a seed of doubt struggling to hold back his tears when he spoke about his father. At a point he had to pause, compose himself and then continue. I can relate to the flood of emotions. Am sure all sons who were guided on track by their dads would have felt it too. Loved that segment and Michael B acknowledging!

Cellophane must have different meanings in different countries. In Australia, 'cellophane' is a type of thick multicoloured plastic used for wrapping flowers or xmas presents - its not widely used and was a bit of an 80s fad. 'Gladwrap' is thin and used in the kitchen for covering food. The whole story made no sense to me, so when Harrison Ford asked the question, I thought it was a very reasonable question.

Indeed, I remember this particular episode rather well, due to one of the most heavily pregnant silences I have ever watched on an entertainment/chat show. A pin dropping, could be heard, and it lasted quite a while. To me it was filled with utter disbelief of this huge injustice to several lives based on a disproportional penalty for a crime that was not that severe of a crime itself, however the penalty seemed to be based on the person without ever seeing that true person in context, with his merits for society and family. Justice is simply not always just, and definitely not always blind.

There were 2 shows that I never watched until they were off the air and in reruns: Friends and How I Met Your Mother. I very rarely made a set time of watching tv because I worked odd hours, or depending on where I was, the cable systems showed dif shows at "odd" hours. I can still win trivia for both shows, though. 😏

Let's add to the list and say, "Happy Father's Day" to our Heavenly Father up above who sent His only begotten Son to save our souls! Our every deed, thought, emotion is recorded in our blood creating a spiritual record of our good and evil deeds etc. (1John5:8 KJV). 2,000 years ago, Christ shed his blood to TRANSFER his list of good deeds onto our record through our shared red blood (Col1:14; Col1:20; Rom5:9; Heb10:19; Rom3:25; Rev1:5; Isai64:6). Then he died and was buried to pay the penalty of our list of bad deeds on our record (1John2; Rom5:12; Rom6:23) - cutting the list of sins away from our old record (Col2:11) and making a new record for us. Then GOD raised him back to life into a new body after reading and approving of/accepting Jesus’ list of good deeds and He was allowed into Heaven - His resurrection is PROOF that the record of His good deeds will work for you as well (John11:25,26). Jesus Christ was GOD, the Son manifested in the flesh (1Tim3:16 King James Version) as the perfect man without sin and obedient to GOD, the Father. When you die, your soul with your record is summoned by Satan to the heavenly court to meet GOD, the Father -- Satan has a copy of your record and accuses you of sinning and demands that your soul be condemned to hell (Rev12:10). Do you want your NEW record -- that Jesus Christ transferred to you and fixed for you -- to be read out in heavenly court? YES or no. It is a free gift (Eph2) and it was finished 2,000 years ago, but GOD values Free Will Choice. GOD asks and requires an answer. It is best if you reply “YES!” out loud to GOD (Rom10:9-10) (1Cor15:1-4). There are no obligations afterwards to go to church, to give to charity, to do good works - His free gift was given and transferred into our shared red blood (human blood) 2,000 years ago (John19:30). Jesus didn’t die to give you religion - He died to get you out of hell (death of eternal soul means being eaten by demons forever) and to give you a second chance at life (soul living in a new body).
