Hallowe'en is becoming a bigger event every year here in Ontario too. When I was a kid, the most you generally saw was one hand carved Jack-O- Lantern at a house. Many would just have the porch light on. That was the signal for a house that was "shelling out" so they wouldn't get their "windows knocked inside out!!!

I can see the East Coast is just as green as the West Coast! When my kids were little, there was always snow for Hallowe'en - but not anymore!
