入学・入部して約半年が経ち初々しさが抜け、橘の一員としてのプライドや自信も見え隠れするようになってきた1年生。 チームとしての音も完成しつつあり、今時期の演奏会はそう言った面も見えてとても楽しく見る事が出来ます。 この1年生2年生たちが2025年のローズパレードに出場する時には中心メンバーとなって下級生を引っ張るんですよね。頑張ってほしいと願っています。

From early in the morning, to late in the afternoon. Almost every day of the year. @@set3777 : They are called the "Orange Devils" because of their tendency to win marching band competitions (when they show up, it feels like "the winner has been decided"). Their fans know that and don't associate it with what you're thinking. And even if it was created out of "malicious intent," I guess it is a huge hilarious backfire, because they earned that name because of that tendency to win.

If Kyoto Tachibana is not the best high school marching band in the world, they are certainly in the top three. One number I would dearly love to hear them take a shot at is Victor Young's "The Greatest Show On Earth March." I think they could do more justice to it than any group since the days when Merle Evans led the Ringling Bros - Barnum & Bailey circus band.

パレードのラスト３曲は120期の思いが込められていると思います。 分かっている方も多いのでしょうが、コメントに上がらないので掘り下げてみます。 それぞれの歌詞に120期の中学３年から現在までの体験を重ねると、こんな風に読み取れます。 9:33 Smoke on the water　コロナ禍で望みが絶たれた。 10:39 星に願いを　それでも夢を諦めない。夢は叶う！ 12:12 トリステーザ　今夢が叶って演奏を披露できる！嬉しい！ 一番思いを伝えたかったのは「星に願いを」の終わりの部分だと思います。歌詞は「Your dream comes true／夢は叶う」。パレードのクライマックスで一番印象的なシーンです。 今年のパレードは歌詞を思い浮かべながら見るのもいいですね。少しほろ苦さを含んだ美しさを感じます。
