I'm a 2000s kid and I never really knew what EDM was until the 2010s. I discovered dubstep and it's variants first, but I found the song "Pretty Rave Girl" by S3RL and slowly started listening to him over the years. He's been really the only Happy Hardcore artist I've listened to, and hearing the female vocals in these old classic songs untouched and just like . . . normal singing is really wacky for my stoner brain. I loved all of these songs, while they may be way less tame than stuff today, they were awesome.
