Wow nice tools,your are a pretty lucky man.3 stood out for me, proto key chain screw driver, pretty rare,action ratchet, love those and it has the head cover, those always go missing, I have the 1/4 inch and the 1/2 inch, just need the 3/8's one,and that proto 5249 3/8 's ratchet,love'em they are very smooth.Merry Christmas,hope you have a great one.😊

Merry Christmas George! A very nice hoarde of Proto that I would be happy to own and use. You git some items that I didn't know were in their inventory. I really like the vintage of the Proto allen sockets. Disappointing drawback was the chrome tended to peel and the bit retention wasn't ideal. But the bits were harder than the same vintage Snap-On sockets. As an industrial mechanic socket head cap screws are vastly more common than hex head hardware. I own every version and style of driver manufactured, and Proto was my preferred brand. Their quality suffered after the more recent brand mergers, but I really like those sockets. I don't wrench on this hardware in retirement anywhere near like I did during my employment. I recently put together a nice set of Proto ratchet and sockets for a grandson. I used my Proto wrenches and sockets pretty extensively until upgrading most of them to Snap-On. I still have several sets that I keep in active use. Your gifting friends were pretty generous.
