Readymix Moe I was just wondering what my concrete mixer drivers are wearing on their feet man I’ve gotten boots that are water proof and the concrete water just tear them up I’ve gotten boots ghat were a couple hundred bucks and some cheap ones and they just get tore up quick so yea what do y’all wear

@@Bigixtapa2010 I buy waterproof for like 50 60 bucks, and buy new when they go bad.

We get boots supplied every 12 months by the company it's a requirement by employment law here ( leather safety boots ) they don't last. If we want a really good quality brand boot we have to pay the difference and that could be $100.00 deducted from our pay over a nominated time. 100% water proof safety boots we buy our selves for winter about $80 ( Blundstone brand ) they last for years.

I’m thinking about getting into concrete business up here in Minnesota. Company says they will train me to get my cdl to drive and work with them. Never have drove big rig before. But I am definitely interested. Have any suggestions or what you think about them training me in for big rig? Good deal huh?

Yes great deal. I went to school to get mine but this is a fun gig. It can get a little busy but the money is good.

Ya I heard money is decent and I was thinking if they’re going to train me to get my license too that is pretty nice. Long hours but here in Minnesota your laid off from like November to April cause of weather. Pay I heard starts around 20 bucks an hour here. How is that compared to you?
