I was thinking about Deadwood Dirge, and I figured out how to explain why Dirge should be kept as a premium arsenal target when possible. The whole name of the game in Vynn is setting up a runechant engine to keep the pressure up, and Deadwood Dirge does exactly that. You want to guarantee runechant generation every single turn, regardless of whether you're sending a runegate or stacking.
