That lovely envelope with the lace-how about tipping it in to the spine with a hinge? That way it would be up the right way and functional and you could have kept the lace!

OMG, these are great! I love the giraffe especially! Giraffes are my jam. I kept thinking you needed the butterfly on the lace. Love the KZbin ESP! I made one of your envelope portfolios for a journal I am working on. A friend and I are completing a bucket list item: visiting and hiking or walking at each one of the 49 state parks in Georgia. I don't comment much but I love watching your videos, but I do have a question. My mom raised me to never damage a book, wasn't even allowed to fold the corner, but I love the aesthetic of using the pages how do you get over that kind hurdle in journaling? It’s my absolute favorite glue and it’s not always easy to get here and quite expensive. I can use it one-handed (not like glue stick), with the metal tip it comes out nice and thin and it dies not warp the paper.

Hello Cathy and welcome to my channel! 😃❤️ I totally get your excitement, I still feel it after 3 1/2 years! 😃. Collecting papers is a great start. You don’t need much. I would start with a simple one-signature journal, maybe using card stock or a large envelope or thicker book pages as a cover, which you can decorate. Just experiment and enjoy the process! 😃❤️
