I am amazed at how the horses cab run across such rough terrain and not trip or twist an ankle. Magnificent creatures. I'm glad we live in a country that doesn't eat horse meat. That's something else that amazes me...the way most other countries eat horse meat.

That's pretty rough riding terrain. I wonder how much steering through the cactus and spikey chaparral is human and or horse? A successful lasso throw and shouts of joy amongst cowboys with similar objectives. In another life and another time, this is what I would want to do. Smooth riding cowboy. Hope to see more videos soon.

Happy New Year Sky to you and the rest of the crew, you are starting my year off right watching you young guys having fun. Nice catch of the bull coming towards you,, thought for a minute you where going to have to throw a backhand loop! I only have one complaint about your 2019 videos, they are too short, I hope you correct that in 2020 lol. By the way, what length and size ropes to you use? I know back in the day we didn't have such pretty colors, and if you lost one running through the brush, it was a bear to find it blended in so well with the sand. You said you ran into a sticker bush which is no fun, we were coming in one time and my horse got a cholla pod under his tail, rodeo time ! I thought I would get my head kicked off taking the splines out but the old poney just stook there, think he knew I was trying to help.

The moo calls actually have a cowboy purpose. If the cowboy can sound enough like baby calf in distress, mama cows even if not the mother, will come running to investigate. I've seen it happen time after time. These guys ain't the drugstore variety.
