Hi! it's my first comment in your channel. I found it because I'm trying to develop my first visual novel alone (I have nothing done yet). I liked what you do and how nice you are. Thanks for you message! You're so right... I'm in the process of eating healthy because the junk food have been making me emotionally sick. I'm learning also about buddhism, there is so many wisdom in there. Happy New Year ^^ I'll be checking your channel and art. Greetings from Barcelona, Spain ❤

You're inspiring, and you gave us gems on just enjoying the journey instead of rushing to the finish line. I've been taught something, love your videos and your work Wulfmune :] 👍🏿💜

Aww happy new year Jen, Thanks for making this video I will be able to take a few things from what you said if not all, I've been burning myself out for two years now and to be honest I don't gain anything from it thus far.

I hope you give yourself time to rediscover your joy. Everyone says to take a break but I'm happiest when I'm playfully doing my projects. I find it more enjoyable and productive then the burnout/rest/burnout cycle.

Happy New Year Jen! I think what you are talking about makes sense.. people should not summarize their life in one day and focus on the goals they have achieved or not achieved.. a year is quite a long time and a lot of things happened during that time.. some goals aren't really realistic and some goals aren't really worth achieving, so people shouldn't beat themselves up, just because they didn't reach their goals.. instead they should set more realistic goals this time or just enjoy life and have no goals at all..

For some reason I was raised with fear and shame as primary motivators for self improvement. It's hard to unlearn but I think self improvement from a place of love and self respect is so much better!

@@coffeedripstudios well, it's not the best approach, but for example, I was raised not to improve.. when I was trying to learn something new, I was always met with a "you're going to fail anyway, don't waste your time" attitude.. although my parents loved me and all, they just never considered the possibility that I could have a better life than them.. I should follow in their footsteps and not waste my time on anything else.. but as the black sheep of the family, of course I didn't listen and maybe that's why I always try to learn something new whenever possible, but I will probably never be a pro at anything.. I just get to the point where I feel like I'm wasting my time on something that isn't worth it and I'll stop..
