Rabbie Burns Auld Lang Syne alive and well thanks to the Scottish influence from the HBC store managers over the early years, in fact John Pearson manager from 1975 to 1979 played his accordion to bring in the New Year celebrations and we organized the dancing ring and the crossed over arms, I see it’s still going on this would have been in the old community hall, expect there’s a new one now after 40 plus years, great memories.
