The church i attended from 2001 to 2013 had the sweetest new year's eve services. No hoopla or pomp. We would simply be partaking of Holy Communion as the clock turned over. LORD, i miss those days... (Pastor went home to Jesus & things changed.)

in 2021 i was about to start a new job, decided to go to a party and not drink. Rode my motorcycle there, went in and said yeah Im not drinking. The first thing i saw when i was on in the club was a bright inviting bar. Mingling I said I'll just have one, ended up having 9 beers. Got lost trying to find my motorcycle that was two blocks away even passed out on the sidewalk. Amazing grace I made the motorcycle ride home and the road that was only three lanes was looking like 16 lanes wide and i was swerving all over. Missed my exit on the way home and even fell over at the stoplight, made it home and passed out in my clothes in bed. Woke up in what felt like a blink of an eye to my Dad shaking me saying hey we're supposed to be on the way to the beach, did you drink? I was like yeah, alot. Later that morning sitting on the beach getting a tan and still bigtime in a daze I said I cant drink anymore otherwise Id die no doubt. Stayed sober since, even at social events. Praise God and God bless you.

One hit Bam ,now Been down hill since then took a drink then all the other sins 7 times worse .. family hurt church family worried cause I don't pick up the phone .. Might loose my job and place to stay . No one was able to reach I tried to foucus on God but I felt alone just tramped lost like I knew it this time going strong for 3 Years .and Bam Back to zero .just them I got on my phone and I went straight to you ..
