also to everyone saying they want to work at starbucks, yes it is a very fun job and you get really close to the people you work with, but it can also be stressful at times like any other job. cafe vlogs really glamorize the job and make it look so cute and fun (which it is) but there is a lot of memorization, team work, and reliability that goes into the job!! but also as she has said in a few comments the job really does help you break out of your anti social shell!!

Very true Lol I worked at a cafe like Starbucks on the beach. Let me tell u NEVER again. Loved my coworkers. But we were short staffed, I was over worked and it sucked lol !!! But not all of it is like this jsut my experience was horrible

I worked at Starbucks in a Kroger and a stand alone. I was usually alone for 1pm-11pm at the Kroger Starbucks and usually with one other person(night shift) closing at a stand alone…. It can be tough… people can be very mean about drinks… I had a lady accuse me of giving her the wrong drink(it was right & hot) and she threw it at me and it burned my legs and my stomach….. It can be fun but it can be tough….

Must be a pretty chill kiosk to work. I can't even fathom finding the time, space, or energy to set up my phone/a camera to film myself making drinks all day. Also, she better be careful. Like, if Target and/or Starbucks somehow finds this channel, could they not threaten her employment? Don't get me wrong, she's hella food safe, stays gloved on camera at all times, never shows customers, etc.. But, like, aren't we not allowed to record at work? Can't we get fired for that? Or isn't it at least heavily discouraged?

Girll! I’ll be completely honest, i am very socially anxious. I feel like working at Starbucks, though, gave me more confidence in my ability to communicate with others. Sometimes it’s really hard though, but i have my coworkers to back me up (sometimes) if i ever get too anxious in some situations with the guests. My new year's resolution is to make more friends and get into a relationship. Also, for a drink suggestion, I would get an iced matcha green tea latte with 3/4/6/7 pumps of liquid cane sugar and topped with vanilla sweet cream cold foam. Really good drink, the vanilla sweet cream cold foam gives the drink a nice foamy texture and adds some nice sweet vanilla flavor to the drink. I feel like matcha isn't super sweet but the liquid cane sugar will sweeten the drink. You could also use classic or vanilla or whatever sweetener you want to put in the drink, but I ordered liquid cane sugar.
