Happy new year Candace! I have allergy after the vaccine too and I have been bothered by it. I didnt realized it was from vaccine until a neighbor told me her two sister who were very healthy before both got allegery/eczema after vaccine. And I was very healthy before too. It's so sad with the side effect of vaccine. :(

Hey Candace, thank you for sharing your story. I've traveled to Hong Kong 3 times in my life, first when I was a child and then later as an adult. I enjoyed my time there but as the pandemic has taken charge in 2022, it has been a no fun zone with all the restrictions. Anyways, it's definitely strange that a perfect stranger wants to exchange expensive gifts. So you did the right thing by not attending the Christmas party. As well you mention about being single. Hi Candy, A disappointing series of cancelations during the holiday season... cancel, cancel, cancel 😭 You seem to handle it well though, and there are other occasions and this year 2023 to look forward to. I find your story of the Christmas party so interesting and revealing in the terms of your reasoning and cautious nature. I know people who would be easily wooed by Hermese gifts etc., and would set aside caution to get what they want.
