I think a thin layer of UV resin would have done the trick plus would have adhered the button! Brush on the glitter, cover with UV and cure!!!

Sherry, I finally found time to watch, I am trying to catch up. I think your choices for the top are perfect ❤ Thank you for thinking up how to add glamor to this pot! It is perfectly gorgeous ❤❤❤. I have a similar pot from Temu. I hope it is the same quality as yours, but it is probably a "second." I admit I am not thinking clearly, I didn't even think about using the polyurethane resin for this project. I love the white base. ❤❤❤

I wonder if you could brush the mica on a silicone mat and lay it on top of the wet resin to color the top? hmmm, sounds like an interesting experiment!
