I think a thin layer of UV resin would have done the trick plus would have adhered the button! Brush on the glitter, cover with UV and cure!!!

I have a similar pot from Temu. I hope it is the same quality as yours, but it is probably a "second." I admit I am not thinking clearly, I didn't even think about using the polyurethane resin for this project. I love the white base. ❤❤❤
