Thanks for the great idea. It is inexpensive and so easy. I was buying several of these at the dollar tree and a couple people asked me why i was buying so many. I have passed the idea onto them and several other people we love your ideas. My kids used this for their binder notes, yes they are taking courses at the college in the summer. I have an EC and was on the fence about the HP, so I bought one to see what was so different. I love it! I use my EC as a memory scrapbook type planner and now the HP is my everyday planner. Wow! Very clever. I can now put my own art work on the cover. I own a 9 ring Happy Planner, and large puncher. It will cut through 140 lb. Watercolor, or Mixed Media paper! Just make sure to add a little extra room on the “ punched side” of your art while painting! Thx!

You make the BEST videos. Thanks so much for this tutorial. I'd heard people on youtube mention your use of Dollar Tree Chopping mats. This is brilliant. Thanks for helping us to think outside the box! (I wish I'd seen this before I dropped $20 on a laminator last summer! I don't even really like using my laminator because it STINKS when you use it - probably giving off noxious fumes! Oh well...gotta die o'somethin'....LOL) I am definitely going to go get some of these chopping mats today.
