He seems to be just a touch gentler with her than with Chanzie. Very much a top notch performance, this girl can dance! Question: why do 95% of these videos have the band loitering and not playing? The couple's spend hours preparing, can they not expect a live band to push against? It would jazz the dancers and kick these glimpse up a notch. I know we are spoiled, but it would be special to see for those genes that cannot appear in person.

Solos in the music are never the same when the band plays, so a piano solo played by the same person 2 times will be different. That makes it impossible to plan a choreography where you hit accents perfectly.

Because the dancers rehearse to the recording, and every nuance is significant. The band would not be able to replicate this.

They're good but I prefer Chanzie as his partner; she "feels" the music and not just doing the steps.

She's not a natural dancer like his other partner. This one counts steps and moves more carefully and isn't as sure of herself.
