Happy Tihar from Nepal!

Namaste!
Some of you might have heard of Diwali, the festival of lights. In Nepal we call it Tihar, starting the 2nd of November this year. It's one of our favorite festivals, celebrated with sweets, music and dancing etc. The houses are decorated with lights and we make patterns on the floor with flower petals, sand and/or colored rice. It is a Hindoe festival and takes 5 days. Workshipping crows, dogs and cows and welcoming the Goddess Laxmi into the house.
