Happy to say that if your Gh4 mechanical shutter is stuck , then the Problem been solved!!!1

It's incredible!!! I had the same problem! Just passing a blade screwdriver near the HDMI connector did the job! There seems to be no dirt, but probably some debris was shorting two pins.

I also had a GH4 that had HDMI problem but shutter was working fine. I sent it out for repair but they couldn't repair it and when I got the camera back the shutter stopped working. I just found this post and I removed the HDMI port all together from the circuit board and now the shutter works! Thank you for this post! I thought I had a bricked GH4! now I can atleast use for photography...

This video is great! Is this possible with gx85? My camera just took some pictures with mechanical shutter and then it showed the warning. I turn on the electronic shutter as you said but it was not my type. Could you show me the steps clearly because I'm still worried about this destroying HDMI port, please.
