I don't know why there are so many people hating/disliking Yeongcheol. Maybe his drastic actions are dislikable but his efforts should not be overlooked. I've seen on various shows and even his appearances on shows long ago and his effort really pulled through. His "Real Men" and "Infinity Challenge" appearances were very well-liked and showed a more humane side to him, especially "Real Men" and I think that's how he actually is. If you see his instagram he's an amazing guy and he's just trying so hard to make himself known. And yeah he's a comedian, most comedians try their best to make people laugh and end up coming off as "trying too hard". But at least they're trying.

Sometimes things like that become a funny inside joke between friends or family because both know it's not serious but laughing that strangers think it could be that way since they don't really know them. My mom's baby brother was that way. One day his "date" for dinner was his girlfriend, but the next time his sister or niece.
