Solar shouldn't have to share her profit with the company . . . Solarsido is filmed, edited and produced by herself and Byul. It's unfair, they already work MMM to the bone and make so much money from them. They have less than a year on their contracts left, hopefully they resign under more favourable conditions for themselves. The girls work hard, they deserve more.

Don't forget that the money the company gets is also for investing into their next comeback, stage clothes, etc. Otherwise they'd have to pay for all of that themselves. The company also wants to profit, because that way they can expand their business and let the trainees debut. Unless someone like the CEO earns way more than deserved, I don't think it's a problem.

Even thougth solar works hard for the videos the production and editing of the video is done by the company as she said it in a video. So I find fair if the company wins money with it also taking in cosideration that at the end of the day that money is to make RBW biger being a really smal company at the end of the day it is good for Mamamoo

Solar does not edit her own videos. She has mentioned before that the company helps her with the production of her videos. She mainly films and then sends her footage to be edited. She's so busy she cannot possibly do it all alone. It is fair that she is paying her editor and producers for helping her make videos, so she can post regularly. She's not doing this to make money, she's doing it because she loves it and it gives her a chance to interact with Moomoos. I'm sure she is receiving a high percentage of the the profits, but most of it rightfully goes to pay for props, the editor, and the people who help her plan her videos.

lusia bournet her company helps with production and editing of her videos. If you haven’t noticed, she uploads every 3 days or so? Can you imagine Solar editing all of her videos on her own? I guess that’s why she splits the revenues with them. She needs to pay for the services they’re doing for her (same as if she hired someone outside the company to do it). I think her company RBW is great as they give their artists creative freedom (songs, choreo, concept, etc) and don’t restrict their artists’ behavior unlike other companies

Mamamoo is probably financially stable now, Solar said she even got her parents a new house and a car for her dad and even give them money to spend. Her channel is just a hobby and stress reliever, not a primary source of income. lusia bournet it is common knowledge within the fandom. They reached breakeven around the time of Um Oh Ah Yeh (2016). LOL it wasn’t from her youtube income. Didn’t you see in the interview when she said she started earning money she gave back to her parents and they showed the clip from 2016? That’s when they paid off all their company debts. It’s not a secret tbh. Don’t know what you’re complaining about. Hardcore Moomoos know that their idols are not being mistreated or treated unfairly 🤷🏻‍♀️
