That really sucks about your windshield I have to get one of my windows fixed too. I went on a cruise and left my car in a parking structure and someone tried breaking into my car. Luckily my window didn’t break. I just barely got the car a week before going on my trip. I was so upset. I finally caught up on your budgeting videos. I binge watched more than 50 videos of yours. I actually enjoyed it because I was able to see the progress you’ve made. Enjoy your videos. Now I’m going to have to watch your planner ones.

All of us are saving for a Dash Cam! It is scary out there! And I am a big believer in a shoe cabinet for your shoes instead of in the closet? When my late father passed away my Mom, for some unknown reason, decided to put all of my clothes on what was my Dad’s side of the closet and also moved all of my bathroom stuff to her bathroom? I just went with this because I wasn’t going to say that I didn’t really want all of my stuff in there? Anywho, fast forward 2 months, I walk into a dark closet because I know the shirt I want and where it is located. I literally tripped over her shoes that she had kicked off into the closet, went flying forward into a rack of her clothes and pulled them all down in an effort to save myself? 🤣😂🤣 She hears the noise, comes running, the first thing I heard her say was, Oops my shoes and then, you took down an entire rack of my clothes, couldn’t you have fallen into yours?! I was like, lady, if you want me to share a closet stop kicking your shoes off into the middle of the closet floor! She said, you sound just like your Dad? I said, he was a smart man. We both laughed so hard. So yes, shoes outside of the closet please! 😂

Not sure who you’re insurance is through but I have gieco and they offer a option to replace windshield with no deductible I even have it set up if a deer where to cause a accident with my car it’s no deductible. I pay a little more but I have had windshield replacement three times and fixed six.

I have Geico too. But you are able to choose your deductibles and I don’t have that one set to a low amount. I honestly don’t want to pay more for insurance. In the over 20 years I’ve been driving this is the first time I’ve ever had to replace the windshield on my car.

​@Happy2planwithDesiree as an insurance agent, I wanted to let you know.... adding the glass coverage is usually very minimal and glass claims don't raise your rates generally if you need to use it. Might be worth asking going forward. You may be surprised.

Are you sure the insurance won't pay? I have a big deductible, but I have no deductible for replacement glass. Maybe double check your policy? Good luck!
