I just would like to say after watching lots of others crocheting flowers this person is the very best as she does do it as slow as she can and all her flower making and other crocheting making is very easy to follow and I am very glad that she is on here to show people how to crochet if you are a beginner and if you have call teas in Reading or writing so by watching this person's crocheting she is very good I'm very good to under stand on how to make whatever item you would like to make thank you very very much for putting your ideas on here and to show how to crochet flowers which is one of the things that I like to do more than anything else I have tried crochet blankets but just normal old fashioned crochet by watching your crocheting videos it is showing me on how to crochet pattern blankets thank you very very much again keep it up as I love watching your crochet videos on how to make things as you explain them as slowly as you can and very easy for me to be able to try them myself so thank you very much

You are by-far the best teacher of crocheting I have come across. You teach in a step-by step manner. You don’t rush through steps. I can see each stitch that helps me when I am crocheting. I love these patterns of flowers you have created. Thank you, thank you. I’m currently making some tulips, but when I am done I am going to make these flowers.

I love this pattern, thank you so much! I did make a couple small changes because I didn't like how big the center turned out when I made it. I cut out rounds 6-8. Also instead of doing front loop only, I did back loop only for round 3, and that made it flare out, which is the look I wanted. Awesome tutorial! I'm making a bouquet for my mother in law, daffodils are her favorite 😊

This pattern has given me so much joy! I had no yellow so I used colors I had. In the fun of it, I've created some new flowers; the Purpodil (I had several purples on hand) and the Grafodil (plenty of green too). I continued combing boxes for yarn and I found pink and white so, finally, I was able to make a "real" daffodil too. Thanks for sharing the pattern. :-)

I just made this for a tea cosy which is meant to have a daffodil on top that is knitted in the round, which I struggled with. So I searched for a crochet version and found yours. Thanks for your excellent tutorial. I made the trumpet in orange and the petals in yellow. It's so nice!

The technique for using florist tape is to slightly stretch it as you go and that makes it sticky. I used to use a lot of this as I made sugar paste flowers for my wedding cakes!

This pattern is stunningly beautiful and not difficult to make, and your video is wonderfully clear. I have used different colors to simulate other narcissus flowers (white or yellow petals, yellow or copper pink or orange or mint green centers), and I will be tacking them onto a framed board for display. Thank you so much for this video. BTW, I made them using Aunt Lydia's size 10 cotton crochet yarn and a size 9 Bates steel crochet hook. Any size 10 cotton crochet yarn will work (including Red Heart or J&P Coates Knit-Cro-Sheen which sadly is no longer available).

I came across your videos the other day as I was curious on how to crochet flowers. I'm a knitter and I wanted to make little flowers to attach to hats, jumpers etc., but I've never crocheted before! The first couple of videos taught me the basics, and I've already made one small pink flower. Thank you so much. I nearly fell off my chair when I saw that you had a daffodil video up too, though - daffodils are my favourite flowers! I'm a little obsessed with them maybe, so I will just have to do this one. I MUST master the technique! Also I agree with another poster below, you have a lovely soothing voice, and I actually drifted off to one of your videos last night, haha! Thank you so much for these great instructions, you are a star.

Love the flower and all your video. You have taught me how to crochet! One thing I want to point out about this pattern. I have made 2 daffodils. You say you may want to crochet first part ("cup") inside out. If you do this and do picot edging while still inside out it is Perfect. Like yours in video. However on second I followed written pattern which I downloaded. It doesn't say to crochet inside out and I forgot. So the picot edging stuck outward rather than inward. So it was a very different look. Just an FYI. Again thank you. You are amazing!!
