Everytime we get a new hunter, everybody underrates him/her, but then, people learn how to play them and the plays we can do when using them.

a lot of people are saying that he is weak, but I assure you in the right hands he is terrifying. If you don't use the color zones correctly or use the clones well, the chases will be long and he will get cipher rushed. If you use the colors well (ex., hitting with red last so survivors can't counter play) then the matches will last 1 minute max. I mean he can literally cancel survivors items whenever he wants lol. He's a weak character in weak hands, I won't be shocked if people would start banning him like they do for opera and Goatman, and I won't be surprised if he gets nerfed very very soon. Build-wise, I think the first hunter bringing blink isn't the best idea (especially because I don't think they used it once), something like warp (to help with map pressure??) or patroller like the second hunter (to get zone hits easier) will help. He NEEDS insolence (we saw in the last match why it's so important to have it early game), his jumps are the only things going for him lol, so def left down build is the way to go. (also random but idk why hunter mike punching the fuck out of survivors is so funny to me TOT)

Just saying, he's probably gonna be a monster in duos. His circle change speed still needs abit of work, but giving that a shorter cooldown using the pill in duos would benefit him alot. Although he may probably be the supporting hunter doing debuff in a tag chase

i got his skin and i got to try him so these are the key things i understood about him; 1-He’s strictly a chase hunter and his mobility is extremely good for big maps that takes a while to rotate in, 2-His camp is really weak unless you have the dog to slow survs down and guarantee an after half rescue, 3-Stunners and distance characters absolutely destroy him since his range is really small but if he has his dash he should be good, 4-He has no cipher pressure at all so also decoders like prisoner and faro lady also ruin him.

Ball can't expire, which crazy. Why? Because you can easily change target, pretty much controlling the whole stage. Let's say you stack two balls into each survivors, you just snowball every of them until you met a weak link in the team. Since Mike doesn't have any recovery he CAN terror shock you whenever you wanted to rescue

To me it seems there's a bit of luck when playing him, feels like he's gonna be good for specific situations The equivalent to a Clerk going against a decoding team versus a full harass one kind of hunter There's no doubt he's gonna be good once people master him But to me once survivors learned how to counter him he's definitely gonna be a solid tie win hunter There is definitely a lot of room for counter play On both sides ...So I'm looking for to seeing him more

Nah bro, as Clerk main it's depends on the understanding of the hunter. One thing that I can say as Clerk main is, I can have 2 point Berserker and 2 point Rage+Desperate Fight+ Addiction (or just max Rage or max Berserker), best thing I still have Trump Card. First bring Excitement, then switch to Teleport end-game. Not many hunter can have this persona due their relationship with the pallet and window, not to mention the weakness when having low presence and the cipher rush. Even Ivy that at banned basement need Insolence. Double hit hunter may excel when meeting harraser team, but they can't do much when they meet the pallet camper, pallet spammer, or window vaulter. Every hunter have their strength and weakness. It's only the understanding of said hunter that make them "weak."

@heybanon I main Clerk to I used her as an example To make a point Yes she is capable But she still requires specific situations that would benefit her Same would have to go for Ivy This is just mostly 1st impressions it has changed I do think he is a bit much But I can also see The same way you counter a clerk is the same way you can counter him Heavy support distance pulling and breaking line of sight Alongside Tank Characters like Puppeteer Psychologist

When survivor at red area, they can't use their item. Getting read ball mean their item get canceled. For psychologist, I think it's understandable 3 hits (9 hits for him). He's fast, so he'll never lose survivors. Even with faro lady, he can cancel her cloak.

As an ex peak tier hunter player for like 23 consecutive seasons, this is the most obnoxious hunter I have seen. Not even pre nerfs bq was as bad. The main problem with this hunter is you can’t rotate him, so you have to rely solely on your kiting abilities. The issue with that is his clones have a long placement range so there is also that. I’d say the biggest flaw with his design is the no attack recovery situation. Mainly cause he can instant pick up survivors so popping the last cipher is near impossible. Force healing is not possible against him and he hard counters any melee harasser. Cowboy gets destroyed by him and he also cancels out flywheel. Some characters like dancer are straight up useless against this guy since his movement speed outperforms the slow box effects. He doesn’t have a bad camp either since you can just scout the area and scuff rescues thanks to the lack of attack recovery. Overall? If they don’t nerf her she is stronger than prime bloody queen. Something I never thought I’d say about a hunter. On a side note, he also hard counters explorer and minds eye since they can’t hide (his clones work like feaster’s tentacles and Joseph’s card showing the nearest survivor) To any crybaby reading this and preparing to come at me, know that I have been a peak hunter player for YEARS. I know what I’m talking about.

Thank u for explanation, I'm still confused how his abilities work. I'm no peak tier hunter but I'm adapted on playing all hunter. I think he's pretty decent hunter. Not near too strong or too weak. But still good hunter to play that takes a lot of practice like a lot

Well popping is actually really easy with him, that’s the only thing I disagree with. Since he can’t down a survivor in one hit you can really just pop it as soon as they go down, he can’t pick up survivors immediately. And I would have to disagree with you, I love everything about him. I love kiting him and playing him, all around Im really happy with him and I love how unique he is

he is stressful to play personally :') his auto aim is quite weak compared to other hunters, sometimes during bad ping moments the colours won't even register despite hitting survivors with them multiple times..this can also happen with good ping. sometimes he hits through walls and sometimes he doesn't. he's definitely new and as interesting and fun he is to play, he's definitely not easy to learn 💔

Gosh, the debuff should at least last longer if they're gonna make his hitbox that small. Cipher rush is gonna break him. Also, his detention chase is pretty sad :c i love his concept but with cipher rush he wont be playable on mid to higher tiers :/

yes!! most cases he gets a down when 2 ciphers have popped (3 if ur unlucky.) i remember being stuck in a weird area and the debuffs dissapeared just before i could get my last hit in :') obviously i haven't mastered him yet but he has alot of tough spots
