I don’t understand these companies making gels that are not for styling wash-n-gos. Who in the natural hair community is asking for gels specifically for slick backs? We can make that shake for $1.99 from the beauty supply store. We don’t need a premium Fenty or Pattern price for a slick back gel. To me that is incredibly tone deaf and a tad disingenuous if you are targeting US. But as always, thanks for your honest thoughts Rayna! You a real one!

I bought her whole line and the first thing I tried was the curling cream because I don’t have luck with getting definition in my curls with them. I was pleasantly surprised at how little product I used and how great my curls looked with no fly always. Can’t wait to try the other products

I got it and let me tell you something, Rihanna can sell me water while I have some at home. Nothing but quality. My hair is moisturised and the richer one deep conditioner and the comeback kit is 🔥🔥🔥🔥 this is insane. This woman wasn’t just gone. She is deep in her business like her partner says. I’m proud of her. One of my nurse colleague is fenty girl and she doesn’t even like her music🤭 beyond just celebrity name. Black girl magic forsure

I'm excited to try the hair line. Because her makeup line is top tier! Meanwhile I have not heard a lot of positive reviews on Bey's line. Which is unfortunate. I just purchased some of the Pattern products so I will be trying those first.

Hair care is not one size fits all, the results vary based on how you apply it (do you follow the instructions) and how your hair takes in the product. Fenty has loads of negative reviews too. Hair and Makeup included. Some like and some don’t. It’s also important to vet the negative (positive too) reviews bc ppl lie for likes

The only review I trust!! I would to see you pair the cream with one of your favorite gels to see if that gives you better results. The cream looks amazing on your hair but if it's able to work with a gel I'd think it would be immaculate.

This is the review I was waiting for!! I knew you were going to be honest! I bought the cream & the deep conditioner… The deep conditioner was a let down.. I disliked the way it applied, it didn’t have much slip & my hair wasn’t moisturized after I rinsed it. But it does smell AMAZING! I’m gonna try it again with heat next time… I didn’t use the cream bc I mostly do wash and goes & it WOULD NOT pair with any of my gels… that curdling on the back of my hand almost sent me over the edge by the 4th gel… but like the deep conditioner, it smells AMAZING! I’m gonna try it for a twist out or braid out alone to see what it’s working with…

Your hair is just like mine, besides our porosity. Your reviews are superrr helpful. I also don’t see a need for a rinse out conditioner and I don’t have issues detangling.

I liked the cream side. I'll have to get into her cream. My hair is very fine/thin. Gels can be a little too much for me. I do like the result of the cream. Gel is not too bad either. I like the shine the gel gives. It looks like this line is giving what its supposed to gave.

I purchased the shampoo conditioner (returned for the deep conditioner) and the gel. I tried the gel for my wash n go and definitely thought of you like oh she’s not gonna like that. But look at how you made it work! I just felt like nothing in the line was the greatest staple type of product but a nice start. I needed more moisture and slip. Maybe I just don’t need as much repair.

So I was waiting for you and for Bianca to do your reviews on this line once I found out that the gel was more for slick backs I wasn't really that interested in the line. But your review of the gel gives me hope that they will have a decent gel for wash N go's because I'm like you and I usually like whatever gel you like and right now because of you I use innersense I create hold and I create definition.. I like first impressions as well. But how about the scalp? Did you notice any reactions? My scalp apparently is quite sensitive to certain ingredients (had a reaction recently to a well known “natural” deep conditioner and lost some hair). Great for my hair, but my scalp couldn’t handle it.

The gel is confused….. Not strong enough for a slick back, but then also cant be mixed with cream for a better wash n go. Seems like its for YT ppl hair. Would work fine with my thin hair, but def not for my daughter thick hair.
