@@grim1044 i normally take on the fishron first he is not that hard if you know what are you doing and have an accessory on dodging his attacks (shield of cthulhu) plus happy is playing on classic mode so beating duke is not that of a big deal i beat him on expert almost on first try, on master it can be cheesed using teleports to dodge his third phase fast attacks, so it's not that hard boss.

Sometimes you get lucky and shot forward in power very fast. When I was in the dungeon and farming for items I got blue moon out of the normal chest there and it does 54 on pc normally. Using the action button causes you to wind it up in a constant swing and your surrounded by your own DPS. I...did pick up a godly one by accident but even without a good enchantment its will help a LOT.

In my summoner play-throughs, I like to start by breaking a crimson heart/shadow ball and acquire that world's evil's gun to get the arms dealer. From there, I challenge skeletron with the meteor armor and the space gun. After that I buy the quad-shotgun and laugh uncontrollably for hours at the thought of not doing a ranger play-through and continue to play the game how Relogic intended.

A little thing: If you use a whip that gives you attack speed with whips you can use another one for two seconds, that means you can use the jungle one, the dark harvest or the durendal to increase your attack speed. Another thing is that you can use the obsidian armor of pre hardmode if you did the Empress of Light at night and you can't do it in daytime, that gives you more DPS if you're hitting with the whip and more range :D

@@Jay-jo6bz I think the most painful part of ranger is getting that damn fossil armour which is why I decided the next time I play ranger I'm going straight for the necro armour, on hardmode ranger has a mostly smooth journey though, if you're more of a bow enjoyer and daring enough you can also challenge fishron right after getting frost armour and stormbow, after getting the tsunami you can consider 90% of your journey ended here because it can carry you all the way to the pillars.

You can't craft summoner weapon but can grow it. Suicide a lot then place the tomb stones on the grass, it will then grow Abigail's flower, solid till imp staff

POV: 1.4 finally came to console but you have no idea how to play it.

As of 1.4.3, we got a new early game summoning item, the abigail flower, which is a nice and easier to find alternative to the abigail flower. It's also quite op for early hardmode (it gets quite some buffs in hardmode), so it becomes a great alternative for blade or sanguine staff (by the way, I think you can get up to 60 or 50 armor penetration with balde staff) although I don't think this info would change much things, just less grinding

Tip: If you're playing early summoner in expert/master, you could get the fishing equivalents of the Cloud in a Bottle, Hermes' Boots, Shiny Balloon, as well as the frog leg. These items are functionally the same and the Hermes' Boots equivalent can also be crafted into the Terraspark Boots, as well as the Shiny Balloon equivalent having it's own crafting tree. Just a suggestion!

One buff I don't see you using is the tipsy buff (debuff technically) and while it doesn't specifically give anything for summon damage, it has a +10% melee speed buff which applies to whips

For me as a summoner, i actually defeated EoC with a finch staff in Master mode FTW, it took 185 tries, because EoC in Master FTW deals 129 damage, and 79 damage in its 2nd form, but when I saw this guide, i knew I had messed something up, i forgot the snapthorn existed, so tnx a lot for the guide Happy :>.

One important note is that the sangwin staff got heavily nerfed with the 1.4.4 update as it fixed a bug where the sangwins could hit a target multiple times with contact damage but now it will only hit once’s before returning to you and repeating the cycle They are still good for the mech bosses but overall the blade staff from queen slime might be a better alternative now

I think after you’ve beat terraria at least once then your next run should be expert, it’s probably the best mode. It adds more accessory slots, new AI, new epic boss drops, as well as increasing the difficult a large amount.

This is why summoner is probably my favorite class. Sure, it can be very slow to start and relies heavily on a good world, but there's something entertaining about letting your minions do everything for you and watching as the boss's HP drains and your Stardust Stand beats the hell out of anything that gets too close. Terraprisma being more powerful than the stardust dragon is also quite fitting, since Day EoL is arguably less forgiving than Moon Lord and the pillar event.

I've beat empress of light on the hardest difficulty with only melee AND intentionally forcing her to berserk mode by fighting past the day/night transition that buffs her to stupid heights. I was also not using food or buffs outside of armor set passives. Basically the hardest fight in the game where getting hit is likely a death

How much time did you spend on this playthrough I mean, before beating anny bosses: -You got a extremly big supply of buff potions -you got the ancient shadow helmet and pants -you made a giant vine and stinger afk farm -you made a giant vampire frog staff farm -you made the terraspark boots I feel like by the time you done all those things you could've deafeated all 3 mech bosses and duke fishron

Heres a tip for mech bosses farm as many as night souls as posible and make lots of night keys and fight corruption mimics and get a clinger staff and in twins use it when the eyes are evolving it will deal extreme damage, and when destroyer gets in a small location use it it will kill it like so fast
