Wow, Kerala has such a rich history with spices! 🌿 It’s incredible to think about how long Kerala has been a global hub for spices, attracting traders from all over since ancient times. Green cardamom, nutmeg, cinnamon, and cloves-Kerala really is a treasure trove of flavors. The spice trade center in Cochi sounds fascinating; there’s so much history and culture tied to those spices!

Sir black papper can be grown in hot places at 800 meters above sea level?
@HappyFarm858 ай бұрын
Yes, It can. At an elevation of 800 meters above sea level, the climate may still be suitable for growing black pepper as long as the temperatures are within the required range (around 25-30°C) and there is adequate rainfall. However, it is important to consider other factors such as soil quality, sunlight exposure, and proper care and maintenance of the plants to ensure successful cultivation.

Do Pepper plant require partial shade ? Or not necessary?
@HappyFarm85 Жыл бұрын
Hi @manjunathm2209, Pepper plants generally prefer full sun, meaning they require at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight per day for optimal growth and fruit production. However, in very hot climates, providing some partial shade during the hottest part of the day can be beneficial, especially if the plants are showing signs of stress or wilting due to excessive heat. If you live in a region with extremely high temperatures or intense sunlight, providing limited shade during the hottest hours might be a good idea. This can be done by using shade cloth, placing the plants under a tree canopy, or using other types of temporary shade structures. However, it's important to strike a balance because too much shade can hinder the plants' growth and reduce fruit production. Hope the above can help you.
@manjunath.9900 Жыл бұрын
