Just received Shadowland today and you are right, the opening is a little strange but for me it was strange in a good way. I love how the opening is like a shadow and slowly enters the light with that mid. Its a beauty and I feel it is versatile. I will wear this one to work tomorrow. Great review.

I just got my sample and yes the opening is weird but it dries down to a nice floral scent

I don’t know if it’s a sign of immaturity on my part but I can’t wear a fragrance if I didn’t like the opening 🤷🏻‍♂️ You’re a better man than I! Having said that, we seem to agree on well over 95% of the fragrances you feature so if you say wait a minute or two I might just have to give it a shot.

Your description is just as his video for the fragrance says what starts in the dark always comes to light! And you just gave that exact description seeing how it starts off kind of chaotic and dark and then really lightens up! I think I'm about to pull that trigger before that stay safe 25 discount ends on the 30th with just one other question Ross, is it a date night fragrance a sexy and seductive fragrance, or how would you categorize it as far as being appealing to the opposite sex? Additionally, outside of Paisley Sky which I get crazy Compliments on, what do you think is the most sexy and seductive fragrance by Happyland Studios?

Okay, had to revisit this, Ross. I finally got my nose on this one (Yeah, I know, sad.), and here's my take. The opening, is like going into the old wood shed, and digging out the boxes, with the Halloween decor and costumes, after being in the freezing cold, and scorching heat, the rest of the year. Some of the plastic, is melted, the candle with the dark, incense smell, is all mixed with the plastic, and musty vibe, from the cardboard box, and the shed. A bit unpleasant, for the moment. Then, as you sort through it all, get it all out, and displayed properly, now it's time for the whole Halloween experience, with the candy, Autumn smells, and fun, you have forgotten about what led up to this moment. A dark, mysterious, Black Phantomish vibe, that develops into Halloween Man (OG), or 1 Million. Very odd to start, a little off putting, but turns into something enjoyable. Just had to share that. And EJ, quite the artistic canvas, here.~

Ok I'm going blind buying AGAIN, so far 2 companies have done me wrong. @tltgreviews since you are good friends with this company I'm hoping it all goes well. I ordered HL El Goodo if its 🍇 like you described it id love it, also got Signature a honey 🍯 tobacco is one of my fave scents. I ALSO looked at fragrantica website and they had HL products reviews which tells me its getting attention and that makes me feel more confident on my purchase.

Ross, Ross, Ross, I get so upset when I see reviews about happy land products, I always know I am going to love the sound of them and want them but we can’t get them in the U.K. Spoke to EJ before and he said they can’t distribute to the U.K. at the moment.
