Karen Dykhouse some characters aren’t cheap and most people probably didn’t have Dumbledore yet when this video was posted and the Only reason Dumbledore has Admittance to all the houses for the room areas is because he’s headmaster of all of Hogwarts also basically they already said you don’t have to switch all your characters it just has be one or two to get you into houses like Slytherin Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff you just need someone to help you get in the door to three of the House and basically half of Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw characters are friends with Gryffindors Like Harry,Ron&Hermione anyway. Another thing is you wouldn’t need Dumbledore to get into the Gryffindor area since youre playing as Ron,Harry&Hermione who are already Gryffindors also a good portion of the characters aren’t free after you find the character tokens the main problem is the paintings only letting Ravenclaws,Gryffindors,Slytherins and Hufflepuffs separately into their own Areas which makes it hard to get to the other 3 houses if you aren’t from that house. Which makes it hard to do the missions you are given since the ghost guide leads you to certain destinations which usually ends up being one of the 4 houses. Also Dumbledore’s characater token probably isn’t found right away that’s why freeplay and Freeroam exist after you beat all the levels. Also some of the tokens are hidden in paintings where you need someone else from that house to help you get it like Snapes character token you need a Hufflepuff character and a book character working together in order to get it and most the characters you don’t have with you unless you switch one of your characters out with someone else from a different house

Kathryn Huffman ehh it’s been a while, but I followed Brian’s walkthroughs for everything so he must have showed it at some point. I think that’s the one where you have to get up above the fountain?

blossom_ haze probably just let the room reset itself or bust open the four bricks again and rebuild up the strong chains use hagrid and just grab the character token separately from the rest of the missions in that area and just make it look like you grabbed it on the way out and you wouldn’t have to restart the game entirely. Like when I went back to the follow the spiders area to get Lucius the silver gate where one of the house cress the gate was already busted open but everything else around it was normal i left the level then went back to shortly after and the gate was back to normal to where I could bust it open so it’s probably the same with the fountain in the slytherin area give it time to reset then travel back and just go to the fountain part of it if all you need is the character token from there.

TrashyAqua I think the last one exists nobody just knows where it is. The last one on years 1-4 for the gold brick is probably just hard to find it’s the one house crest on one levels that ended up being behind that barrier that you had to carefully jump over the one in the dark magic protected item. The last gold brick gold brick 200 is probably just hidden super good/well. Since you get a gold brick if you clean/dust/sweep the floor of Eeylops Owl Emporium.

Patrick Stump's Severed Hand if you aren’t playing as a character from Hufflepuff for Hufflepuff,slytherin for slytherin,Ravenclaw for Ravenclaw and gryffindor for gryffindor the 4 paintings for those areas wont recognize you so you’d have to use someone like Harry,Ron,Hermione,Fred...one of the Many gryffindors in the game. The paintings won’t let you in unless you’re from that house in the game.

Ok, in this level, has anybody ever had a glitch w/the Potion Pots? I just was using this video to help me get the Collectibles, when I needed to get Hagrid. I used the PolyJuice at RavenClaw, took a drink....aannddd nothing happened!! I was like "wt_?!". Then I tried Harry, but the same thing again, nothing happened!! I thought, maybe, if the physical appearance didn't change, maybe they got his strength, but Nope!!, for both of them. Went back to see about Fang. Still nothing. So, went outta the Dorms to the room at the Bottom of the stairs, 4got the rooms name, n tried the Potion there, And!! Still!! Nothing!! Idk what to do but to quit n restart the game n try again at a later date. But has anyone else ever had this glitch? If you did, how did you fix it?

Someone help I broke Slytherin token 11, I never pulled the chains with a strong character yet but I shot the balls in the snakes mouth so its flooded and I can't access, is there any way to fix that? Edit: Nevermind I fixed it, I was just using Fang as the strong character but he's too short to use the chain once its flooded. Just don't use Fang lol

Why you looking specifically for Rita? Our best advice would be to follow along with our FREE PLAY videos after completing the STORY and then you can jump into our FREE ROAM videos which leads to 100% AND you will find Rita along the way. Your able to switch characters in free play once you beat the level you are allowed to continue playing or return to the leaky cauldron there for if you return to the leaky cauldron you are able to replay the level in story mode or free play mode

There are Cauldrons spread out you need to use to drink the Poly Juice Potion which will allow you to change characters inside Hogwarts. We should walk you through it in each video that needs it.

You get the poly juice potion in year 2 but the ingredients are in year 1 but you can't make the potion in year 1 you make it in year 2

The doorway where you enter the leaky cauldron is how you get back to Hogwarts.

@@maggie21irish Probably means there's still some story to see unless you already done years 1-4 then again I haven't completed 1-4 yet. Had to restart because the Slytherin common room in the hub world glitched out on me and could never get in.

maggie21irish if you’re are on years 1-4 still you probably have to beat those first before you can get the return to Hogwarts and do whatever you want

Have you tried restarting your system and reloading the area yet? That often will solve loading bug/glitch like it sounds you ran into. Hope this helpls!

The Slytherin fountain doesn't work, there aren't handles and the hufflepuf room is inaccesible there is not mandragora. Help.

Francisco Jaramillo you need a strong character for the slytherin fountain to work you Need hagrid since the handles are in the water and the Hufflepuff rooms are accessible it’s not a mandragora it’s a mandrake the screaming tiny green plant you need earphones for to handle. You just need to put the mandrake in the pot after you find it You probably just have to give the room time to reset and go off into another room first to do stuff.
