@@Tizzy_Rose Eh, fair. Personally, on one hand AMVs helped introduce me to series when I didn't have anything I wanted to watch. It was one of the methods I used to discover new anime. Good amvs spoil fairly little about an anime so they were useful. On the other, some AMVs could be really well done and creative. Steel Fenders is a nice example of that in my opinion. They could be enjoyable in their own right on their own whether you'd watched the shows they're from or not.
