Seeing so many former Pakistani cricketers bashing the comeback of the two retired players, I have a question for all the Pakistani cricket fans: I thought Amir bowled really well, especially alongside Naseem Shah. Even against USA, he was solid except for that super-over, especially in the 19th over. On the pre-match show 'Caught & Bold,' Ishant Sharma and Sreesanth too said Amir is the only bowler who could trouble India’s openers. So, isn't Amir's comeback a good thing? Pakistan's batting hasn’t been delivering for a while, and they collapsed again vs India. For me, it was Rizwan, Imad, Ifthikar, and Fakhar’s poor performances that cost Pakistan the victory. Cricket is a team game. How long can Pakistan's bowlers carry the team if the batsmen don't step up? Anyway, still hoping Pakistan make it to the Super 8 (India almost has).
