The leaks were not fake. They data mined the game. Marduk and Fak are definitely going to be future characters unfortunately. Most likely season 2

But Slayer was data mined in strive and he didn't come out til like 5 years after the data mine. It's possible the Tekken team keeps them in the back pocket like that too

The leaks were not fake. The way the characters got datamined was that they found the string for the character's fighting style and origin that's shown in character select. Heihachi wouldn't look out of the ordinary because 'Mishima Style Karate' and 'Japan' is already in the game for other characters.

Also you can see the credit in the motion capture parts. They have the saenchai pk muaythai gym (the previous gym with the fighter who mocapped fahk) as list of organizations that was involved in tekken 8 mocap

Heihachi threw Kazuya into a volcano but that only took him out for 1 game (unfortunately he missed out on T3, the golden classic) Kazuya threw Heihachi into a volcano but that only turned Heihachi into a DLC character
