Just think, everyone. For a short time, before Disney cornered the market and killed off all competition for animation, the fleischer brothers were turning out stuff like this. Trippy, surreal, dark, working with the sort of experimental "out-there" music and artists like Cab Calloway. For a brief time, animation in the west wasn't saccharine pap for families, but this. And it was beautiful. Thanks for bringing us this, it's an amazing remix :)

America just lacked Anime for far too long, where somehow that was considered dorky and nerdy, even though Americans of all ages were welcomed to love American animation. Now we got tons of amazing incredible shows similar to Anime from youth to adult that many love, but many feel animation in general to be simply secluded to the "CHILDISH/CARTOON" figure head... even though cartoons being considered childish... Many could not watch the Simpsons, Beavis and Butthead, South Park cartoons for being too adult... Hypocrisy (as they go back to watching shows about crime and murder).

It is macabre. The song is about a guy visiting his dead girlfriend who died from an STD and now he knows he’ll probably be dying to and is singing about how he wants his funeral to be. The animation and background artwork are also macabre taking into account the tone and subject of the song
