My grandfather was a haranista and I always hear him sing his haranas early in the morning when I was about 5 years old. Kaya mang Romy ipagpatuloy mo lang po pagkanta at kay kuya Floranter Aguilar salamat it brings back memories ng hayahay na buhay sa nakaraang panahon.

Thanks for bringing back a very important note of our rich creative heritage. I now marvel at the simplicity of just those two elements of voice and guitar that I never thought I would miss. I thought harana was passé and corny. It was obviously and regrettably the wrong note to take and sadly out of tune of me. Good thing we can still go back and recreate the Nostalgic Atmosphere.
