Harbor Breeze Cruises Whale Tour - Long Beach, California

We saw a massive pod of dolphins!
Join us aboard Harbor Breeze Cruises' La Espada for a 2/3 hour whale tour outside the Channel Islands of Southern California!

In this video, we made our way to Rainbow Harbor at Long Beach, California. Home to Harbor Breeze Cruises that operates 2/3 hour whale tours aboard the La Espada.
The 2-story boat has interior/exterior seating - including stern stadium seating. Restrooms are available, as is a snack bar serving drinks, chips, hot dogs, and more (they take card).
A majority of this cruise takes place out of Long Beach into the open ocean between the coast and the Channel Islands. While most of our experience was uneventful but relaxing - if you get lucky, you may just see some wildlife!
Of course, you're hoping to see whales. The waters off the coast see many species of whale through different parts of the year - Minke, Blue, Orca, Gray, Fin, & Humpback. In addition to that are the lesser-known "whales" in the form of Dolphins - specifically the "Common Dolphin."
In this trip, we were fortunate to stumble upon a massive pod of energetic Common dolphin - thousands! A great sight to cap what was an enjoyable and relaxing cruise aboard the La Espada!
