@dylanmarmino I had the fan, but after realizing how hot the motor got, I decided to return it. It kinda freaked me out just how hot it actually got, and my mind started wondering so back it went . I didn't really mind it, but just know that this fan is pretty big. Lol, but it was great the short time I had it . It blocks out other noise, so it was plenty loud but not an unpleasant loud. I did get another standing black fan by Lasko, which is pretty great. It is bigger than most standing fans, but that's what I had to get in order to have the noise and the wind quality that I wanted.. It doesn't get hot like the other one did either.

I like that it is relatively quiet for how much air it moves. kzbin.infoUgkxmj9RYGCX25BElHkuWjHec-2_muyUGyCm Was easy to put together. Note: The spindle cap is threaded backwards to keep it from spinning off during use, so remember to turn it the "other way". I also like that the lights, which are quite bright, turn off after a few moments so they do not bother me at night. The remote has to be aimed just right, but does work.

@notnice37214 жыл бұрын
I purchased one (through Wayfair) but ended up with two (one to replace the other). But, part of the issue is that I don't understand how that one little bolt that's suppose to hold the fan blade to the motor's fan post keeps it securely fastened. The first time I was setting it up and turned it on to test it, the fan blade wiggled it's way off of the fan's motor post (and I was injured enough to warrant going to the emergency room). So, what is it you did to the fan's motor post at marker 3:44? It looks like you quickly screwed something on it? Mine doesn't have any holes or bore marks to let me know where the fan's bolt can be screwed into.
@kramnull89623 жыл бұрын
The motor shaft has a flat area on one side. I wish the hole for the shaft in the blade unit was actually D shape. That would make it more secure from vibrating loose. That and the fact they put phillips head on the hex head nut. They are insinuating that anyone can get it tight enough with a phillips screwdriver; Which we know is false. The bolt is 12mm and I used a ratchet with a 3 inch extension to tighten it up.
@jjrealestateg6 ай бұрын
How did you fix it? That’s my issue too the design is so dumb. For such a high speed fan it’s only held by a dumb little screw? Like seriously it’s dangerous with those metal blades

@@kimber120306 hey i was able to figure it out. you keep the blade flush to the end of the spindle rod. make sure to align the screw with the flat part of rod. then, and this solved my issue, you need to use a power drill to tighten the screw and tighten it tight. carefully test it out but it should be good to go. i think there is a second of initial wobble as it adjusts but then it’s good. hope this helps cuz the fan is actually awesome lol
