If you back the mower up so the casters spin around... then pull the mower onto the jack... that front piece of the jack wont hit your deck. Caught another video where a guy suggested that.

It would have been more helpful for the reviewer and presenter to have used the machine previously so that he didn't make mistakes while he did the video because it confuses the viewer. Also, he never said whether or not he would recommend it or not. But we did learn through his mistakes that there are safeties which have to be placed on and off before the mower lift functions properly. Another deficiency of the mower lift that the presenter identified was that the frame of the lift may impact the center idler of the deck, rendering the mower lift unsafe. Of course one should never rely on the lift solely and always be sure to place jack stands or cylinder blocks under the mower so that you are not trapped and pinned by it in case anything would fail. Why is this secondary safety important? Anything made in China is junk, including the steel and it's not worth risking one's life. Thank you for your video and presentation. As a helpful suggestion it would be highly useful too make a second video strictly on the use of it after you've had a chance to gain experience with it to share your knowledge and wisdom with the viewing audience. You have to adjust the screw to allow it to retract back up.

If you still have your mower, could you please tell me the measurement of your back skid plate to ground while not on the lift? I think I might not be able to use the lift on my zero turn and Id rather not open the box if so. Thank you.

I struggle with that too. I measured 8 inches and I continually bottom out even on 6 inch ramps. I have even backed up onto the low ramps to give me more clearance but, that is a struggle too. What I do now is, I do not use the wheel lifts and slide the lift under the deck and lift the deck since I only need to access the blades once a year before the start of the season. I do like this jack better than just a car floor jack for checking the blades or pressure washing the underside of the deck. Good Luck and I hope this helps.

something is wrong with yours I believe your foot pump should go back up automatically after each pump It dose on the cheaper $99 model …. Id check on that

Yes. Made in the People's Republic of China. The cylinder started working correctly after about 10 cycles. Must have had air trapped in the wrong place.
