Wow, I've never seen security phillips bits before. Did you ever get to use them or have those fasteners disappeared because of how easy it is to make your own security phillips bits?

Short bits are not for impact. They're for lite duty work.

I'm glad we're having this discussion. You'd be hard pressed to find a basic bit set with these included....of decent quality for a decent price. Looks like the Bauers are best. For all around... Not too small...Visual. Machined decently. Basic kit holder. Red....under 20 bucks? Some of these kits only go to TRT10. When doing finite repair this size goes all the way down to TRT6 At that point...im usually not working on it. Too small...too technical. Violates my man law.

Looks decent it’s aways super handy having a set of these odd ball bits. It will be interesting to see how they hold up

Not sure why security bits would need to be impact rated.

Have you checked out the new harbor freight magnetic socket strips? $12 bucks where I live.

Now you need a 6", 9", and 12" set of these and security bits anywhere will never be a problem again!

I actually went in to get those Hercules and saw the Bauer brand and didn’t know which ones to get. I guess I’ll find out now.

They are making them under these "brands" so the 20% coupon doesn't work on them.

Where you get all these tools.. Would love to see a video of you shop tour. Sheesh. Taiwan and Japan are putting out some good tools lately, China is and always will be junk, but even craftsman stuff is coming out of Taiwan.

"China is and always will be junk"...That's quite a statement. China has the capability to make any product to any quality.

@@philjohnson796 well then why don't they produce something that's worth while to buy instead of complete and total junk consistently....

Sean Shields it’s all about what the buyer wants. They cater to you. So if you say make this and this product for x amount of dollars they make it happen. The budget is usually so low that they are forced to use inferior parts. Theres plenty of quality to be had in china. Lots of good name brands are produced in china now. Do you think they are just “too dumb” to create quality parts? I assure you that’s not the case.

@@doylee469 I know for a fact those china minds are hella smart and probably could make some awesome products, sadly I've yet to encounter many, if any decent and non cheap feeling products stamped "made in China"
