The Big Motor UpGrade. More parts for the variable speed unit. Lathe work using my Steady Rest. Machining Ploycarbonate and Some 1018 Steel. That lathe looks bigger than a Harbor Freight mini lathe to me. What you been feeding that thing?

For Sure, that is a Harbor Freight 7" X 10" Mini Lathe. It's the 16" Bed extension I got from littlemachineshop.com that makes it look like more machine. I did a four video series on that upgrade. The tailstock lock lever kit makes it feel like a bigger machine also. About 5 or 6 videos back I did a 5" chuck upgrade also. Its not on the machine in this video, but that is really cool. @@GlennNowOnKZbin I didn't notice the bed extension. I did notice the longer length of bed though. It makes the lathe appear much bigger. I went on Harbor Freight's site to see if they had a bigger lathe than I knew about.
