The option to bolt to to trailer or floor or truck bead is discussed in the directions. Attempting to load motorcycle, the stand slides forward preventing it from getting loaded. I tried on the garage floor and with a piece of carpet underneath but in both cases, would not load due to slippage.

I have had no problems with it moving .... But my floor is not smooth finished.. I can see it moving if you have a Epoxy Coated floor maybe ???

You just need a longer piece of carpet (or plywood) that reaches past the back tire and then zero slippage. Or you just butt it up against the wall. Or you can bolt to the floor. Very versatile piece of kit

First and foremost that is a sweet Honda, late 70's? I grew up on Kawasaki KZ's and old Suzuki GS's, so gotta love that pretty Honda. Second thanks for the wiggle test.

thanks...I was thinking about getting one for my Z900RS. Will get it now and use it in tandem with my PitBull rear stand when doing routine maintenance...

Ya ... Still love it It's does a good job on holding the bike... Once I get my cargo trailer I will be installing one in there as well.

If you used a couple tie down straps that would probably make the bike even more secure.

It’s super stable already because a balanced bike isn’t going to tip over. And the 300 pound weight is resting on that cam lock. Couldn’t knock it over if you tried.

Do you think a 2020 Goldwing tour would fit in it? I have a front fender extension on it. The front tire is 130/70R18. Thanks for the demonstration.

Not sure ... the part that holds the tire doesn't come up that far . . . . But again not sure.. I have an 19inch front on my 79 Honda CB650... maybe look at my video and keep in mind my tire size vs your 2020 GW.... I just picked up a 2009 BMW R1200RT and have not tied it in the stand yet... It also has a front fender that comes way out.... But it does have a very good center stand that I'm using right now...... Maybe , I can try to see what happens with the BMW and the motorcycle stand. Does your 2020 Honda Goldwing have a center stand ???
@pureblood20202 жыл бұрын
@@seanwynkoop474 Yes, it has a center stand. I'm going to use it in an enclosed trailer. I won't use the center stand while hauling.

@@pureblood2020 then I see no reason why this would not work in a FIX setup... You can always cut the top ( front ) down to clear your fender if need be. I will be doing the same thing once I get my small 6x10 cargo trailer. For the CB and the BMW !

hmmm kinda risky I mean bike shouldn't fall but should be more stable.

Holds the bike very well .... Use it everyday without any problems ! I would say this is a great product for the price !

This stand is rock solid. The weight of the bike rests on that cam lock so it can’t roll (plus you ALWAYS park in 1st gear). A balanced upright bike isn’t gonna tip. Plus the stand has very wide legs to stabilize. Simple design that uses physics and gravity effectively. You couldn’t knock it over if you tried. The only way out is to hold on clutch and roll it out HARD to disengage the cam lock. Brilliant
