Harbor Maneuver 1: How to approach it?

Do you want to get better at maneuvering your boat in the harbor? Then watch our video where we show how you can train your harbor maneuvering skills. Among other things, we try to turn in a very small space with a good, old-fashioned 3-point turn.
We discuss which moorings to use and how to avoid wet moorings. We also show how to use jumps to get out of the square and how to get the wind to help you. We also review when to use the rudder and when to use the wind to steer the boat.
You will also see us perform other maneuvers such as giving way, saluting and sailing backwards. If you want to get better at maneuvering your boat in the harbour, watch our video and take part in our experiences.
AND REMEMBER: Any port maneuver that does not involve personal or material damage is considered a success 😀

02:15 "Alle både er ansvarsforsikret" Det er vidst ikke helt korrekt. Det er kun lovpligtigt for speedbåde m.m. Men er frivilligt på sejlbåde. - Omend det er en rigtig god idé.

Hej Antonlisner9731 Det er korrekt at det kun er lovpligtigt for Motorbåde at være ansvarsforsikret, og dermed frivilligt for Sejlbåde. Dog kræver stort set alle haven at alle både der har en havneplads skal være ansvarsforsikret, hvilket nok er det Thomas havnefoged referere til. Men det gør selvfølgelig at der godt kan være gæstesejlere i en havn der ikke er ansvarsforsikret. Ohøj Felix & Anders
