It’s really funny to see people bundled up and walking on a beach. Up here it’s too darn cold now, the sand is almost rock hard... it was 39oF in my shop this morning, I’m jealous. 😀

McGuire's is my GoTo for lunch and dinner when I am in Destin. Their steaks are true PRIME, however you can ask for Choice and keep it under $40. They also have an upstairs that I hope to try next time. Oh, and Irish Cream coffee!

Back in the day the 2 stroke Detroits were pretty common because they could run the engine in reverse eliminating the need for a gearbox with reverse. I think their poor fuel economy has resulted in many of them going out of service.

Never knew you could run them in reverse! Knew that it was getting hard to find mechanics to work on them! Most people couldn't wrap their head around that scavenger principle with the supercharger!

That's a public area, so I don't think they blow channel dredgings there unless there was a scheduled project. They do perform beach and dune restoration with dredging. Panama City just did a big project about a year ago; helps a lot with erosion control. I know this is an older video so I have no idea if you will even see this comment but if you haven’t given the Sea Blaster a try you definitely should. As much alcohol as you would like included in your ticket price. Definitely a fun time. Maybe not so much for young kids. We made that mistake but adults for sure!

I want to move back to FL. Grew up in Clearwater and had to move with family to just north of Atlanta GA. I am so sick of it here, people don't do anything but go to church and eat.
