Space Patrol 2100 The Killer Floats

Presenting Space Patrol 2100 Episode 9 “The Killer Floats”. Space Patrol’s existence is threatened when a muscular degenerative disease known as the floats becomes a deep space pandemic. Professor Haggarty discovers a cure. One problem: the main ingredient is the yolk from the square egg of a Martian Aba bird, and the Aba is ferocious and rare. Captain Larry Dart of Galasphere 347 and his crew are sent to Mars to recover square eggs. The mission is hazardous as the Aba is fiercely protective of its nest. How can Dart steal the eggs without injuring the bird or endangering lives? The solution could be a star-measuring machine created by Professor Zephyr that makes objects invisible. The original Space Patrol is a British science-fiction television series written and produced by Roberta Leigh, featuring marionettes. It was produced in 1962 and the 39 episodes were broadcast from 1963 to 1968. Voices & sound effects are from the original TV broadcast. There are content alterations and additions. The original episode is entitled “Husky Becomes Invisible”.
