I’m counting down the days myself, Harcourt will be the first place I ride. The jump trail has had a bit of TLC during lockdown so should be a mint ride!

Cool vid. I have a mongoose hardtail and still learning bush trail riding at 54! Would you say the trails are okay for me to try without smashing my bones too much?

Thanks! You could take a hardtail to Harcourt no problem, just take it slow on the rocks and stick to the blue trails. The less technical trails would be 3, 4, 6 and most of 7. You could try 9 as well but there are some rock features that are fairly technical but you could walk some of those.

@@squirrelcatcher1 Thanks for the reply. I think I'll give it a try soon. I won't hold anyone up if I go too slow? How busy is it there?

It doesn't get that busy and you can easily move off the trail if someone's coming up behind. Most mountain bikers are pretty friendly and won't worry about slowing down for someone.

@@squirrelcatcher1 I went out there today. 6 times on the easy track, and tried the No.6, which was a bit testing. I need a better bike lol. I was surprised how many people were there, but the trails were quiet enough. Helped a guy removed a big tree across the No. 6 track. We must've been the first ones on it today. His bike just floated across the rocky trail while I was bouncing all over the place hahaha.

Nice one! I would love to be riding Harcourt, I had to do with the local Yarra trails.
