I've worked on people with very stuck skin. I told them they need to moisturize the area, but I hadn't thought of holding off on nudging the skin until it was softer. I'll try that too. Would it be possible to give an update video on your studio setup? The last one was back in 2021 when you were still in Canada, and your practice has changed slightly with different supplies now. I'd like to see an update of how you work, how you organize, and an overview of products and supplies you like using now. I refer back to your 2021 setup video a lot for inspiration on various things.

Using ointment on my cuticles continually because of your videos. Much improvement. Thanks!

You are using the ointment on the skin around your nails, not cuticle. Cuticle is a bunch of dead skin cells that we usually remove during the manicure. It’s the skin around the nails we care for and protect, not the cuticle. It’s so important to know the difference. schoonscientific.com/2019/whats-new-nail-anatomy-latest-facts/

I have this on one of my thumbs and it's so annoying! I'm glad to know that it does just gradually fix itself as you take care of the skin.

Would this apply to toenails as well? I would assume so, but you never know!

Yes :) although it’s more rare

Hello Anna! What kind of ridges are you referring to when applying that pressure? The vertical ridges or horizontal? Thank you.
@TheSalonLife2 ай бұрын
Horizontal can be causes by pressure. Vertical are normal.

I have this on all fingers. My skin is really stuck and some are stretched a lot. I tried putting on Kerasil every night for a month but they’re still there 😢 any advice please?
@TheSalonLife2 ай бұрын
Kerasil ointment? I would need to see a picture to assess. If the skin is stretched and not hard like seen here gentle nudging will help. Plus following these 3 things: 3 simple habits that will transform your nails (for the better!) kzbin.info/www/bejne/bn27loyqiaxrhbc

@ Thank you for replying. The stretched skin is very hard. It doesn’t budge at all when I try to push back even with consistent use of Kerasil. I will try to be consistent with the tips you provided. But I would love to get it assessed by you personally, I think I will finally send you an inquiry!

I have this problem but it hasn't gotten better, Even with lots of Kerasal. And if I don't push it back eventually the cuticle rips and then peels :-(
@TheSalonLife2 ай бұрын
How long have you used the Kerasal ointment and do you use it every night? Do don't need a lot of it. Tiny amount but every night. See this: 3 simple habits that will transform your nails (for the better!) kzbin.info/www/bejne/bn27loyqiaxrhbc
