@@The94Venom Thing is, Contra (the organisation) does not exist yet at the point in time presented in this game. That was kind of the point of not naming it contra. It is directly connected to hard corps though (Bahamuth)

@@talhajaved9265 they've never confirmed he was a different Bahamut. They've only left it vague/ambiguous by saying "maybe". Considering the game has you rescue Dr Geo Mandrake who works as a spy for Bahamut, it's almost guaranteed both Bahamuts are the same person.

But, looking at the weapons, the designs, the way the enemies "manipulator arms" work.... it's so obvious a lot of things were directly ripped from Einhander. her gun is literally the Spreader gunpod with a fresh paintjob. Spider Tank is based loosely off of both Gecko and Garnele fights and designs. And Draconis' second mode is STRAIGHT UP just the Alligator enemy plus Gestel and Gustaf and Salamander thrown in. ......Is my Einhander fanboy spilling out? I think my Einhander fanboy is leaking out.

At least the first boss in Hard Corps is better than the boss in Contra NES. You can't always stand outside the range of the gun.

28:23. Did they playtest this boss? There is no way the intended way for you to beat Cerberus is to stand on its top while shooting down to take off 70% of its health. A late-game boss like that should not be that easy to beat.

I think the bad voice acting was slightly intentional. Super Contra on the arcades had awkward voice lines in the intro. But it also didn't help that Uprising likely hired engrish-voice actors.
