There's no telling how much better the amiibos can get. I mean, if an amiibo like Hard DK can go almost toe to toe with even the BEST pro smash players in the world, I'd shudder to think what they're capable of in the future. But on the other hand, you can treat your Lvl 50 amiibo as if it were on the level of Marss (for example), then you can definitely improve your own game significantly by training against your god-like amiibo.

So the reasons he actually beat some top player is because some char are really bad against this but for exemple pikachu and pichu are good char for this but zss isn't good. If you fight with an amiibo lvl 50 it won't help you get better because instead of doing mind games and all you'll have to play a specific way that works vs him

@@samyen3210 I think they're meant to be a training partner for kids that can't fight against an actual human or don't have internet. Also, if I'm not wrong, they basically learn from you, so the worst you are the worst the amiibo is... Maybe.... Also, if you bought an amiibo I don't think you necessarily want to just beat it with no effort since you might as well fight a lvl 9 cpu at that point. You'd want a challenge when you fight a maxed out amiibo, not just a punching bag.

Drazword If it was based purely on skill alone, I could see that for sure. Buuut, they also have spirit capabilities stored inside of them. Hell, even when you turn spirits off IT STILL KEEPS THE SPIRITS. It even automatically gains the damage/defensive buffs we can see the Hard DK using. They don’t really work as training partners anymore when there’s all that to work through.
