Bike is very small and useful only for really short riders. I got to try it a week ago and was shocked about it, felt like riding childrens bike. My 125cc bike is a lot bigger than this model. I'm 187cm, I think 350FR fits for 150cm rider max. But powerwise its allright, absolutely enough for trails.

It all depends on what you like and how you like to ride the bike. I'm also as tall as you and I own few bikes one of them is the Freeride 350. And the freeride is small and not fun to drive on long distances compared to the other bikes. But the special thing about freeride is that it's small, really light and it'a a 350ccm which has more then enough power. (mine has been upgraded) And it's so easy to drive it over rocks and trails like these. But the biggest problem I am getting with the bike is overheating. Except that, perfect.

很好的車 但是我的自由騎煞車系統真的不夠

What exhaust modifications did you do?
@prisoje Жыл бұрын
This KTM Freeride 350 has it's factory exhaust system. All I did is I removed the silencers from it. Reason for that is because it has made some small heating problems.

@@prisoje Thank you. Did you remap your fuel map (ECU) with your ktm dealer?

@@Vlad_B_Kam No I did not remap the fuel map.

Hi! How do you like this bike in general, do you like it or not? Does the engine have enough power? I read on the forums that its engine is specially limited in power, and it can be greatly increased by forcing the engine. That's why I wanted to ask if you have done that?
@prisoje Жыл бұрын
I do like the bike it's pretty good. The bike from factory has been limited in the power because the engine durability is a bit off the point. I have not increased the power by much all I did is I removed the exhaust silencers and replaced the air filter with an better sport air filter which gave it at least 4-5HP more. Currently on my freeride the engine is broken down I'm pretty sure the reason for that is that I forced the bike on hard enduro trails like rocks and sand. My final feedback: The bike is small and very light which makes it really nice to drive. It has a bit less power but the power delivery is prefect. The maximum speed I was able to reach with the enduro kit was about 120-130km/h.

About increasing the power. I would not recommend doing that since I said the KTM limited the power of that engine for a reason. I have not tested it but I'm sure that by forcing the engine to make more power will bring just problems apart from fun. I was thinking about doing that but I decided that the better option was to buy a new bike (in my case!) and just to leave the freeride mostly stock.

@@prisoje Thank you! What exactly is broken in the engine?

@@Vlad_B_Kam The timing chain tensioner and timing chain guider broke down while climing the rocks causing the valves to bend.

@@prisoje Got it, it doesn't sound very good. I think it's better not to force the engine. What was the mileage of the motorcycle in hours and distance? How often do you change the oil? I bought a motorex, as it is written in the manual, for reliability.

Oh yeah the route def. Is easy. But it's interesting to drive Freeride these ways. Harder then usuall😅
