It’s not that they’re scared of getting hit, it’s that humans and pretty much every animal on the planet flinches when something hits their face full force, even if they are expecting it. It’s natural to flinch, flinching a little bit is normal, now moving your entire head or face out of the way is not normal.

@yodouu1024 apprantly as said by bisping they added a new rule where fighters can lift there heel up more without it being called a step I bet on next event fighters will just all be doing stepping fouls on purpose cause of this In otherwords they basically banned steps cause they made it where although heel can be lifted more it can be litterly lifted off of with a minor pivot ground and not get called for stepping
